Microsoft’s efforts to overhaul a Web site that handle software licensing for businesses have resulted in hours of disturbance for a number of of the company’s mainly loyal clientele.

Problems arose next to the beginning last month when Microsoft aimed to consolidate three divide Web sites into a single, more secure site. Approximately immediately, Microsoft could tell incredible was wrong, as customers were powerless to sign into the site.

While unable to log in, commerce customers and the partners that manage software for businesses can’t do things like download software, obtain needed license keys, and administer volume license.

“We surely know the nuisance this has caused and we make an apology to partners and customers,” said Microsoft orator Lou Gellos.

The software maker says it is not sure how many patrons are affected, but said the “vast majority” are able to employ the site without issue. Since more than 1 million people right of entry Microsoft’s sites, if even a small proportion of users are affected, it still could signify thousands of customers with harms.

Microsoft took down the fresh site–the Microsoft Volume Licensing Service Center–for a week last month to improve understand the issues people were having. It was intelligent to see the problem, but didn’t find a mass answer for it. Instead, Microsoft has to answer the register issues on a case-by-case basis, resulting in long waits on its customer support phone appearance.

“We know what they are leaving through and we are functioning as fast as we can,” Gellos supposed.

Solitary longtime customer, who asked that his first name not be used, said that he has been trying for weeks to regain right to use to his account. The purchaser, who has several accounts with Microsoft, said one is due to conclude shortly and he has been unable to institute how much it will cost to renew his agreement.

Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It’s very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.Have you tried the ipad? you can get one free at FreshGiftCard.com
